Am I on people-search sites?

Type your name once and get a search link for 39 people-search sites, each with its opt-out page and a step-by-step guide. Tick sites off as you go.

Runs in your browser. Searches open on Google, not on undoleak.

How this check works

Each "Search" link runs a Google search limited to one people-search site, using your name and, if you add them, your city and state. It's the same search you'd do by hand, just set up for you. The batch buttons search eight sites at a time.

Google doesn't index every listing, so a site with no Google result can still have a profile. For the big ones, also search the site directly: Spokeo, Whitepages, BeenVerified, TruePeopleSearch and FastPeopleSearch are the best places to start.

What to do when you find yourself

  1. Open the opt-out page for that site, or read its guide first if the process has extra steps.
  2. Use a spare email address for confirmations. Many sites email you a link to click.
  3. Tick the site off here. Your ticks are saved in this browser only.
  4. Check again in a few months, because listings come back after a move or a new phone number.

Some sites share one opt-out. Our people-search site owners lookup shows which ones.

Frequently asked questions

Is this people-search check free?

Yes. It builds Google searches for you and links to each site's free opt-out. There's no sign-up.

Does undoleak see my name?

No. The links are built in your browser and open on Google. Your ticks are saved only in your browser.

Why does a site show no results when I'm on it?

Google doesn't index every profile page. If a site matters to you, search it directly and follow the opt-out in its guide.

How many people-search sites list the average person?

It varies a lot, but most adults in the US appear on many of them, often with more than one listing per site. That is why checking a long list is worth doing.
